My top bookstagram accounts since I’ve started

Hello Everyone and welcome back or welcome if you’re new here. Nafeesa here! I wanted to share with you all some of my favourite bookstagram accounts since the beginning as well as those who taught me a lot.

Note: The purpose of this post is not to discriminate or put down any one else’s account this is just me sharing my opinion on some of my favourite accounts.

Okay so I’m going to divide this into 2 separate parts. Part 1 will be accounts that taught me a lot of what I know about running a blog/bookstagram and part 2 will be accounts whos’ content/vibe I personally enjoy a lot !

Part 1: Accounts that educated me:

1. Mixtus Media

Writing a blogpost on instagram accounts that educated me and not including Mixtus Media would absolutely wrong.

I discovered Mixtus Media around April (1 month after joining bookstagram) and I spent the whole day (oops!) stalking their instagram and noting down their tips. Then I moved on to their blog and read their blogposts on all things being a bookstagramer. I still use their tips and value their honesty and effort a lot.

If you are new to the bookstagram game or have even been here for a while and have yet to take a look at Mixtus Media I highly advise you to drop everything and head over there right now (after reading this blogpost of course:)!

2. Lemon Friday

Lemon Friday has got to be one of the most fun and interactive accounts I have ever come across. Lara and Laura will always make you feel welcome and part of their insta family. I started following them in June and also attended one of their masterclasses. I took notes in that master class and I still use them. If you’re looking for an account that can help you with growing your social media audience and presence Lemon Friday is your way to go.

Part 2: Accounts whose vibes and content I personally enjoy

1. Womanon

Womanon is truly one of the most beautiful bookstagram accounts I have ever come across. I absolutely love their theme and their content. Their account screams cozy Autumn vibes and their posts will always brighten your day!

2. Wondrouslybooked

OMG, I am obsessed with wondrouslybooked and adore the person behind it. Malene creates beautiful content that will leave you in awe. I started following wondrouslybooked within the first few days of joining bookstagram and I’ve been enjoying Malenes’ content ever since. Being one of the first few I reached out to, Malene provided me with some great tips and showed me my way around.

3. thereaderandthechef

I found out about thereaderandthechef recently and I am so glad I did. Their content is beautiful and their feed screams “chef’s kiss” (see what I did there?🤭). Their feed is so cohesive and well put together as well and the way that they are able to put out something new with each post making sure it matches the last is just amazing,

4. thebeautyandthebooks

This is another account that I came across recently in my explore page. Their posts have so much beauty in them, just like their instagram handle. All their posts have such beautiful surroundings which tie in so well with the book(s) showcased.
